Lort Smith Animal Hospital is a not-for-profit organisation that provides affordable, quality veterinary care for tens of thousands of abandoned, mistreated, sick and injured animals each year.

We have a dedicated cattery and kennels that care for and re-home unwanted animals, as well as a wildlife and exotic animal unit; where specially trained vets provide care and expertise.

We also run an amazing Pet Therapy program that allows volunteers to take their dogs into aged care facilities and hospitals to provide much needed companionship and affection for the patients and residents. 

​

Our Emergency Welfare Assistance program allows us to care for pets of people in need, free of charge, until the owner is able to care for their pets once again.
